A haiku is a poem with three lines. The syllables go 5-7-7. It mostly doesn't rhyme, and it can be about anything. Here are some examples:
Green grass breaks through snow,
Artemis pleads for my help.
I am so awesome
Dreams like a podcast,
Downloading truth in my ears.
They tell me cool stuff.

A haiku is a three-line poem that contains no rhyme but follows a strict 5-7-5 syllable structure. It was first made in Japan by Basho, the father of Haiku, it usually centers around nature. There are two kinds Eastern and Western and as with everything, Eastern is much more strict while Western is fairly lenient. If you have more questions feel free to ask :)

It is a special Japanese type of poetry where you have a special amount of syllables in every line ( I don't know how many off the top of my head )
