Is offensive to call a nonbinary person (who was afab) a lesbian if they are in a relationship with a woman? Recently I came across someone who referred to a nonbinary person (who was afab) as a lesbian for being in a relationship with a woman. Personally, I think this is homophobic, but I'm not sure which is why I am asking. Also, what would you call a nonbinary person's sexuality (if it would typically be defined as lesbian, straight, gay, were they not nonbinary)? I'm sorry if this is confusing, it's confused the heck out of me. Any help is appreciated!

ask them cause ive seen some nb peeps who like those terms n some who dont, calling it homophobic without specifically knowing what *they* want would probably embarrass them.
as for the other question i think people use "sexually attracted to (insert gender)" instead of gay/straight/lesbian. gay is an umbrella term if you want to say that though

It depends on what they want to be called. If they like the term lesbian then their a lesbian. If they prefer the term gay then their gay. It all depends on preferrence
