How Do You Deal With Depression? Lately, after my boyfriend and I broke up. I've been having trouble sleeping at night, I cry and I get headache. Maybe I'm overthinking? But I was always scared to lose him, and now it took a really BIG affect on me. Help!

If you're having trouble with depression my solution is always and forever TALK!!! Talk to me, friends, UR PARENTS, and if it gets bad a therapist. Distraction is always a great way to heal but that never solves the real problem. Please message me or write on my wall [this goes for both you and Eridan ;)] Please, please, please don't just sit in a pit of sadness when a hand is being extended to you...

Nice. This actually helps. I forgot to mention that sorry. If you talk too much you'll just forget about depression.

Ok, here is the answer. Look at the sky everyday. Think to yourself, why are the clouds so far away? Think about how to reach that goal. Everyone likes the thrill of a pretty sight, what do you do? Live. Keep living until you die (just not depression).

People won't be pleased with me sqying this but selfharm helps, its the only thing that stops me from having thoughts about killing myself, my arm is always burning though, so only do it if you have to
There are a lot better methods of stress management then cutting. You can use methods that are provided by professional help (medication, therapist, or specific exercises done to facilitate specific areas of upset) or casual methods (venting, yoga, calming processes, etc.) If you are contemplating suicide seriously, ping me here, my wall, or PM. There are many See More ways that you can help this and I would love to help you through it.
