How do you get sand out of your ear? OK, so I've been in Florida for about a week and yesterday I was swept up by a wave and pulled under,I hit my head on the bottom and got sand up in my ear. I have no idea how to get it out. Q-tips would only push it back in further and I can't use peroxide because last time it ate a hole in my eardrum and I was deaf in my right ear for a month. Any ideas? I heard rubbing alcohol+white vinegar might work but I'm not sure

Don't try to flush it out with anything except things MADE for your ear. Try tilting your head and shaking, while tugging your ear around. It should straighten out your ear canal and get the stuff out. If the sand doesn't come out in a day or so, contact a doctor.

It feels like my ear is loose and crumbly. At least it's not shifting everywhere anymore
