Glass as you see it in windows is actually a solid. The myth about it being a liquid was caused by the glass in old buildings. The panes of many old glass sheets were observed to be thicker at the bottom than at the top, leading many people to believe that over time gravity had caused the glass to slowly flow downwards. But the imperfections had actually been there since their installation.

yes, you are right about that, but if you are talking about solid glass, it is a solid, but it is not crystalline.

Yup. And glass is an amorphous solid; even though its pattern isn't crystalline, it's solid.
