Am I going to hell for reading Harry Potter? I read and loved all seven of the Harry Potter books, but my classmate continues to rant about how those books are "witchcraft" and I need to repent or I'm going to hell. Personally, I am Christian but I'm not even sure if I truly believe that people go to hell, but she seems firm on her opinion that anyone who reads those books is a Satan worshiper. Also please no answers saying stuff like "there is no God" or things like that, because I do believe in God and would prefer not to be spammed with people bashing my religion, thanks.

It would be different if you read them and claimed you were a witch.
But I really don't know anything about Christian/Catholic faith, so there may be somethings I don't know.

Its not bad to read witchcraft, just don't do it. Only God can control the magic and he doesn't need no other.

I think not, because the books are all about how no matter how much things suck, good will win.
