Backstory: she was born in Edolas, but she had issues with her mom and when Mystogan was leaving (before he met Wendy) he found out and brought her to Earthland with him. eventually she joined Fairy Tail, and no one knew about her being from Edolas until when the actual Edolas stuff happened.
