What are the pros and cons to being homeschooled? Do not joke- I need serious answers. The reason I ask this is because my current situation is getting difficult. To put it simply, my teachers are putting too much pressure and any time I ask my extracurricular teachers to let me take a step back, even a small one, they don’t. I’ve gotten really sick repeatedly this year and it’s put me behind, I don’t want to risk repeating another year (due to that looking bad when applying for collage or work).

You will grow to utterly despise your family until Summer and get into more fights. Homeschool is the equivalent of gunning down happiness at home.
I'm just saying that though because I hated it.
There are some pros to it, for example the schedule can be very relaxed, people don't actually make fun of you for being home schooled, it's more likely that won't come up in conversation or be remembered information.
Iowa testing is mandatory for homeschooled students (I think it's See More called Iowa, I know that's a state, but if it's not the tests name too than I forgot what is) and it's really stressful if you have siblings and it's honestly kind of irritating because it can't be done at home, so a quiet indoor place needs to be found.

I am currently being homeschooled but I was originally in public school so my answer may seem a bit biased.
Cons:
Harder to make friends (harder to talk to them if you were once attending public school)
Easy to slack off and not do work
People will not like you for being homeschooled
Lonely
Pros: See More
Work is generally easier
Get to do cool electives (depending on grade and program)
Easier for you to get your AA degree (Associates Degree)
Also easier for you to get into an Ivy League College
More foreign language choices

Okay, thank you!
Easier as in you dont have homework and a teacher encouraging you (which at times can be good) and your welcome

Being homeschooled doesn't look too good on college applications, so it could hurt your chances of getting into the school you want.
But, pros?
I’m trying to see if the cons outweigh the pros.

I have a large enough group of friends I regularly keep in contact with (that’s also extremely diverse in personality) so I think I’ve got the not enough social interaction thing covered

Well for a pro, you can sleep in and avoid social contact with other people at school.
But then again, you need to get used to social interaction and being in an enviroment with other people since that is what you'll have to do when you get a career.
