What is a kin? I've seen this mentioned a few times but I have no idea what it means.

a character you relate to and imagine yourself as occasionally

kin/kinning: relating to a character really heavily in any way, whether it be their personality, actions, or maybe feeling that you would do what they did given the situation they’re in, to the point where you feel that you are them. You can have soft kins or high kins depending on how much you like or relate to a character.
