What are some good, inspiring things to say to a child who is hospitalized? For Christmas, I'm going to bring a load of gifts, books, games, and toys to my local children's hospital. I'm also bringing cards. What should I write in the cards? I don't want to say cheesy things like "GET WELL SOON!" and I'm not saying anything religious.

Be funny! People are probably already sending sentimental cards. Laughter is the best medicine!

you can also make some peices of paper with take a smile with a bunch of smiles at the bottem and ask if you can stick a bunch up by the doors.

Personally, I would just wish them a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. Cause to me it sounds like you're beating a dead horse when you say something like "get well soon." They already know that they're hospitalized so just wish them a merry Christmas.
