Why are there so many conspiracy theories about The Beatles? like did they actually make songs that (when played backwards) revealed demonic messages? i only listened to their most popular work so idk

i remember at my old piano teachers house she had a book of conspiracy theories and them being debunked and there was like a 5 page long section abt the beatles and none of them were true

everyone was stoned out of their gourd in the late 60s, so maybe all the theories made since at the time

the messages weren't rlly demonic (at least i don't think so)
the mostly revolved around the big "Paul is Dead" theory where fans thought Paul McCartney died in a car crash and was replaced with a look-alike to avoid mass hysteria. They say the band felt guilty about it and started dropping hints and clues for the fans to figure out the truth. examples would be the reverse message in rev. 9 that said "turn me on dead man" and the reverse message in glass onion (i think) that said See More "paul's a dead man, miss him miss him miss him" and lennon's word's at the end of strawberry fields forever that said "i buried paul" (which turned out to only be him saying "cranberry sauce") and a lot more. it's not true of course but it's an interesting little thing
