All creatures need water but instead of "drinking" they absorb it through their skin (I think):

I just found out! Freshwater fish use osmosis to absorb water as opposed to drinking it. However, saltwater fish do actively drink saltwater through their mouths to makeup for water loss due to their bodies wanting equilibrium with the high concentrations of the salt around them. So, I was wrong... fish DO drink water in a way.
