How do I gain more followers?

Well, in general, be active.
1. Create a lot of things, especially quizzes.
2. Comment a lot, contribution to the society usually earns you a lot of followers.
3. Follow other people, a lot of people follow back.

I had this same problem awhile ago. What I did is make a really great quiz that everyone liked. And you can find out what most people love to make a story or whatever.
