My cat wakes me up in the middle of the night. How do I stop it? I have 2 cats, one is 18 and one is 5. Both of them wake me up all the time. School is starting soon, and I don't want to have 3 hours of sleep for school!

Hate to break it to you, but being a cat owner means that the cats own you. There really is no way to have the cats not wake you up, unless you want to risk losing their trust or having furniture. Most of the time, if you close the door, it does work, but if you have stubborn cats, then it doesn't and you will end up waking up from them scratching the door.

Just shut your door- that should keep them out....Unless your cats can open doors. Then you really just have to deal with it. Seriously, my cats can push down on door handles with their paws and open doors.... The annoying thing is that the lock on my door doesn't work. If it did, then I wouldn't have a problem...

I know! One of my cats can open the attic so we have to put a dumbbell in front of it. I have a keyhole on My door but no key.....hmm....

Kick them out if your room if they're that annoying. If you can't/won't do that, maybe get them a bed and a scratching post? to keep them occupied. I hope this helps!
