What does it take to become a successful author in life? I'm just curious here. I love writing.

it just takes a really creative imagination

it takes passion to keep on writing which i don't have! and ofcourse creativity and some story lines!

Imagination, creativity, empathy and effort

U have to like it
And do it a lot or be a natula

First read, read A LOT. Whether its garbage, the greatest book you ever read or think it will be boring or not, read it. While doing this, write idea's you have. Always know that you your first draft doesn't have to be perfect also know you probably will get rejected by publishers the first few times and that's okay. Just keep trying.
