With a s the americans say Math and maths as plural
E.g I have math (american)
I have 2 periods of maths (USA)
E.g I have math (american)
I have 2 periods of maths (USA)

Me because I'm not American..... most of the time British people tend to say "Maths" and American or Canadian people say "Math". I don't mind either way though :)
