"Not all transgender people have gender dysphoria. On its own, being transgender is not considered a medical condition. Many transgender people do not experience serious anxiety or stress associated with the difference between their gender identity and their gender of birth, and so may not have gender dysphoria." - https://transequality.org/issues/resources/frequently-asked-questions-about-transgender-people
Gay people can be homophobic, for example: "I'm gay and I hate gays. But I'm not homophobic! Because I'm gay." People of color can be racist, men and women can be sexist towards their own gender... and trans people can be transphobic. Being part of a community and hating the people in that community can come hand in hand.
Trans people can be transphobic. (Gay people can be homophobic, for example: "I'm gay and I hate gays. But I'm not homophobic! Because I'm gay." Excluding See More and/or not accepting trans people that don't experience dysphoria is transphobic, whether you're trans or not.
Of course I can have an opinion. You don't need to be gay to understand that homophobia isn't right, and you don't need to be trans to understand that not everyone (in the trans community) experiences dysphoria. Read the article or ask https://www.reddit.com/r/trans/ (a community of over 126 000 trans people).
Longer answer: "What is gender dysphoria? For some transgender people, the difference between the gender they are thought to be at birth and the gender they know themselves to be can lead to serious emotional distress that affects their health and everyday lives if not addressed. Gender dysphoria is the medical diagnosis for someone who experiences this distress. See More

Alright then. If you ever have a friend that is questioning and does not know how to tell if they're trans, you know where to find the community (Reddit is the LBGT hub).
You didn't understand why trans people don't need to experience dysphoria, right? That's why I looked up the article. You might inadvertently hurt someone if you don't understand, that's why spreading awareness is important.

as a trans person i'd say yes, you do need dysphoria to be trans, but this is only based off the fact that i myself experience dysphoria and i don't really understand why someone would want to be trans
