Yes; someone I know has died from it. (For that I am sorry, I know how it feels to lose those you love; may they go in peace).

i had my band teacher have cancer, she's good and well now though.

I think the word cancer itself, impacts everyone's emotions. Because it is such a tragic and sensitive topic, it has mental impact on most, just hearing about those whom suffer from the fatal illness
