Yes; I have/had it. (I am sorry; having witnessed what cancer can do, I would not wish that on anyone).

Answer Link Yes; my parent has/had it (My mother recently passed from Glioblastoma, brain cancer).

i had my band teacher have cancer, she's good and well now though.

I think the word cancer itself, impacts everyone's emotions. Because it is such a tragic and sensitive topic, it has mental impact on most, just hearing about those whom suffer from the fatal illness
