How do you pronounce 'gif' ?

I pronounce it Jif, but I dunno if that's the correct way

i say .Gif (g)

I got in an argument with this with a girl in my second period class, she thinks she won, I said doge (doje) and she started saying its a hard g, I said its not, so then she asked me about .gif, I said gif(j) because I knew it was correct, she said "well how do you spell jiff? Not with a g" and I said " that has nothing to do with it, but if its that way, how See More do you spell giraffe? Not with a j"

It's pronounced (J)if, like the peanut butter.

@Lightstriker195 Yup. I called it (j)if even before i found that out. but yeah, the creator calls it a gif (j)

The creator said that it was called .Gif (j) but i still say .Gif (G) sometimes (j) just depends who im talking to, i say the choice is ion the mouthier-sayer person thing

I honestly don't know how it's really pronounced, but I say it with a hard G.
