Silas is actually a knight and the avitars best friend but garon may hate him but he can't just randomly have him killed for no reason it would act out of order of his character as king

That's good this is before chapter 20. Gunter says that king Garon hates him and killed his family so it's unlikely he would be requited as a knight again. Some people think Kamui has Kaze and Silas as retainers. Even though both maids and joker says their your retainer.

Well one maid isn't really your retainer she was more of the castle steward, old guy and I assume you mean Gunter is just a nohrian Knight that was sent on your first mission with you, and kaze is only story line specific if that happens, also Lilith does not

Well me explain... Two maids, old guy, butler, and if you reach a A support with Kaze he's you retainer. I'm not sure if Lilith counts as a retainer.
