Svetlana: Viktor, I don't know what we're going to do. We've lost a soloist to San Francisco Ballet and a principal to American Ballet Theatre. And then of course, our prima ballerina retired. Our season has started and no progress is being made on our nest production. Is disaster!
Viktor: Is not disaster. And I've already decided on 'Don Quixote' as a good change from long run of 'Giselle'. Is new beginning, only.
Svetlana: 'Don See More Quixote'? Is good choice! I was the Mariinsky's favorite Kitri.
Viktor: *Sarcastically* And I was the the Bolshoi's favorite understudy. This year will be different.
Svetlana: How so?
Viktor: Is big surprise... The roles may not go just to our company members. I have decided to let a few last-year academy girls audition as well. I hear they are doing extremely well. Hear me out. The company has become stiff and unfeeling. The students shall bring some youth and fire back into this place. Is good idea, no?
Svetlana: Is very risky, Mr. Kaminski, but you know best. *looks at clock* I have class soon. I'll keep what you said in mind. *Walking out*
