Liam Payne had his underwear stolen in Sydney.
The singer is currently on tour in Australia performing with his group One Direction.
After putting on a show with the boys - Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson - at Sydney's Allphones Arena Liam was pleased to get back to his hotel for a good night's sleep.
However, the musician was left bewildered when he awoke to discover someone was trying to force entry into his room while he lay undressed in his bed.
"Strangest See More way I've ever been woken up, When ur in bed butt naked an sum1 is trying to force open your balcony this is gunna be a strange day" he wrote on Twitter.
"So happy I woke up cuz that s**t would have been so unfair (sic)".
It wasn't long after waking up that Liam realised his boxer shorts were nowhere to be seen. He retraced his steps on the social-networking site and put the disappearance down to someone stealing them.
"Hmmm somebody stole my boxers I'm so embarrassed" he revealed. "So how this happened... I went in the sea in those hotel staff put them outside to dry sum1 climbed on and stole them just to set the scene (sic)".
After assessing the situation Liam gave a nickname to the day full of bizarre antics. He also joked about whose underwear he would like to steal if given the chance.
"#breakIntoSomeonesHouseAndStealThereUnderwearDay right I'm off to scarlett johansson's house (sic)" he mused.
It seems his bandmate was also in need of help while in Sydney. Zayn appeared to be the victim of an invasion of flies and turned to his followers on Twitter for advice.
"Where can I buy a giant fly squatter ?

Following Zayn Malik’s recent engagement to singer Perrie Edwards, could his fellow One Direction bandmate also be engaged?
Another One Direction couple, Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder, have been together for two years and it was rumored that they were also engaged after Malik and Edwards’ surprise engagement this week.
Tomlinson’s sister, Felicity, however, cleared up the rumors at the This Is Us premiere, saying they weren’t engaged.
“No, I don’t think so, at least I’ve See More not heard anything," she told reporters, Entertainmentwise reports.
Tomlinson recently opened up about his relationship with Calder, telling Fabulous magazine, “It hasn’t been easy at times. She gets pretty intimidated by it all. I mean, who wouldn’t? She can’t have Twitter or anything like that. At first, I was like, ‘Just chill out a bit, it’s fine’ but now I understand where she’s coming from."
He added, “I can’t expect her to deal with some of the stuff so easily. But with that said, I couldn’t be happier with her. Things really bother me when they upset my family or Eleanor," he explained. “I think I’m quite thick-skinned but if you’re going to do or say that, f*** you.”

Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have signed a new record deal for a nice sum of money - the lads in One Direction just got a whole lot richer.
The deal should make fans happy - it means we will see all five of the member of 1D - Zayn, Nial, Liam, Harry and Louis - will stay together until at least 2016.
The 'Best Song Ever' boy band are set to pocket £10 million after agreeing to a major new deal with Simon Cowell's Syco and record label See More Sony for three more albums.
The group, who are set to release their third effort 'Midnight Memories' in November, will follow up the record with two more studio albums and a greatest hits collection. They will also embark on more world tours in addition to their 'Where We Are' world tour next year.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''This is a big deal for Simon and the lads. It shows confidence that they have a long-term future and that a split or members going solo is highly unlikely. It will easily keep them busy until the end of 2015 and probably 2016 too.
''It's worth a lot of cash too. They'll get a big upfront payment worth millions then much more from record sales, tours, brand tie-ins and merchandise.''
The 'Little Things' hitmakers have enjoyed huge success since shooting to fame in 2010 on the UK version of 'The X Factor'. Their merits include two hit albums, two tours and a recently released 3D concert movie.
A spokesperson for Syco confirmed the news, saying: ''Simon Cowell and One Direction are delighted to confirm they have agreed to continue their hugely successful relationship with a new long-term agreement with Syco. Simon and the band look forward to many years of continued success together.''

A Syco spokesman confirmed: ‘Simon Cowell and One Direction are delighted to confirm they have agreed to continue their hugely successful relationship with a new long-term agreement with Syco.
‘Simon and the band look forward to many years of continued success together.’
As part of the deal, worth an estimated £10 million, Harry Styles, 19, Niall Horan, Liam Payne See More and Zayn Malik, all 20, and Louis Tomlinson, 21, are expected to churn out three more releases – two studio albums and a greatest hits collection.

Harry Styles pictured gambling in casino despite warning from management after "ugly" losses
26 Sep 2013 12:32
The singer was playing the high addictive game a year after One Direction bosses gave band serious dressing down for losing "a lot" of money
Harry Styles risks the wrath of his management – again - after being caught gambling in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The singer, 19, was pictured with a stack of betting chips playing roulette in a gold members VIP section See More of the Pearl Room casino in Perth, Australia.
It’s believed that Harry has a sentimental attachment to the highly addictive game and even has ’17 Black’ - his lucky number on the wheel of chance - tattooed on his left shoulder.
It was previously revealed “a lot of money was lost” when One Direction hit the casinos Down Under while on their Up All Night tour in 2012.
And unfortunately it doesn’t seem Harry’s luck was in as the electronic board behind him showing the recent winning numbers doesn’t include his favourite 17.
The curly popstar tweeted a few hours after he was seen gambling: “Watching The Biggest Loser. This show is intense.”
Which is probably a massive coincidence and almost definitely an honest reference to the weight loss TV show.
He's got a lovely tan at the moment

The world’s biggest boyband were given a “serious dressing down” after blowing a pile of cash on the casino tables and band member Niall Horan admitted it “got ugly”.
Niall said: “Like most of the stupid things we do, it seemed like it was a good idea at the time.
“We thought it was funny. We just thought, 'We're 18, this is the first time we've been able to spend a bit of money in weeks because we've been on the road.'
“I won £100, which seemed reasonable, then I stopped,” he explained.
He continued: “I'll have to say, 'No comment' about the others. Let's just say it got a bit ugly and a lot of money was lost. A lot.
"When management found out, we got a serious dressing-down.”

One Direction are being investigated by Australian police after their entourage allegedly sped through three red traffic lights.
The incident is said to have happened during a night out in Perth, and the Western Australia Assistant Commissioner Nick Anticich - who said the British boy band's superstar status didn't matter - has revealed an investigation See More is underway.
He told Perth Now: "I have been made aware of it, and I've asked our traffic enforcement group to have a look at it. We need to determine the facts and obviously if there's any evidence supporting the allegations.
"It's unacceptable behaviour. It breaches the law and we will deal with every person in the same way.
"By virtue of the fact that they are rock stars is not a license to break any laws or be any different from anyone else. One Direction they may be, but the only direction in relation to this type offending will be to the courts."
The group - made up of Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - were reportedly driven away in three Mercedes when they landed in a private jet, before attempting to bypass a group of fans.
Police Minister Liza Harvey insisted the investigation makes a point that nobody is above the law, but still gave the Best Song Ever hitmakers a "warm welcome".
She said: "It's a clear message for everyone who uses our roads. We have really strong legislation in this state and that applies to everybody who visits here.
"We extend a warm welcome [to One Direction] but when you're here we expect you to apply the same standards that we apply to our community."

More dramas in the storied history of One Direction now, as the band's Australian tour crosses paths with the animal kingdom.
This week brought our heroes to Adelaide, where fans were so keen to get to them that they camped out on land behind their hotel, despite the large signs reading "SNAKE HABITAT". Addressing an urgent tweet to the "Girls behind the hotel," band member See More Liam Payne warned: "Please get out the fields there's a huge sign saying snake habitat it's just not worth it someone's gunna get hurt."
I need hardly tell you the young ladies were not deterred. "Are u not reading what I'm saying," ran his second, more irate tweet: "it's a SNAKE HABITAT TURN AROUND".
Oh Liam! Know thy fans. On average, only two people a year die from snakebites in Australia, whereas two death threats a minute seem to be issued by Directioners. A far more humane course of action would have been to contact Australian Wildlife Conservancy, and begged for emergency signage bearing the parseltongue for "1D FAN HABITAT". Those snakes never even stood a chance.

The boy band's convoy of cars allegedly drove through several red lights as they left Perth Airport, the ABC reports.
The dangerous driving was reportedly an attempt to evade fans of the group, but drew the ire of Police Minister Liza Harvey.
"I would encourage One Direction to pull their heads in, in Western Australia and set an example to their predominantly young female fans," she said.
Several cars of fans, many driven by their mothers, followed the group through the red lights. See More
The convoy then pulled into a service station.
Freelance photographer Bohdan Warchomij said security guards then photographed the fans in a bid to intimidate them.
"They couldn't shake them and thought 'there must be another way out of this' and adopt plan B," he told Fairfax radio on Thursday.
"I think it was just security intimidation. Certainly with me, they tried to get me to move on."
The band was then whisked to James Packer's Crown Casino, avoiding the main entrance and also their fans.

The deadline for the British boyband to fulfill the request seemingly passed after she wrote on her @illumivato account the dog had died.
She had previously posted a photo of what looked like her choking the animal and wrote the message: ‘Follow me or I’ll break my dog’s neck’.
But the legitimacy of her claim has been called into question after it transpired she had posted previous images of animals in precarious situations, which may have been hoaxes.
Despite this, users on See More social network Twitter were not happy with the girl’s alleged actions.

One Direction star Niall Horan is officially single again after splitting from his Irish sweetheart Zoe Whelan.
The 19-year-old had been on-off with the Dublin babe since bringing her to his brother’s wedding in March.
But Niall has now told Zoe, 18, the relationship over – just as her modelling career goes from strength-to-strength.
Zoe has continually refused to chat about their relationship – despite being offered big money for a tell-all interview by publications around See More the world.
A source said: “It is all over for Niall and Zoe – and it is completely because of his side of things.
“Obviously, it was always going to be hard to have an ongoing relationship when his job has him travelling around so much.
“But there’s been no push from Niall to keep things going at all and has told Zoe it is over by completely blanking her.
“Over the past few weeks her modelling career has become huge, but Niall hasn’t been in contact to say well done. She hasn’t even had a text from him, let alone a call, for nearly two weeks.
“Out of respect to Niall, she refused to say a word to anyone about the relationship – even when there was money on the table to spill the beans as she knew it would be over then.
“But it seems just doing her job is too much for 1D’s people, who appear to have pressured Niall to cut all ties with Zoe. It’s cruel the way he’s done it, and she’s obviously a bit devastated it’s over.”

LONDON - One Direction star Harry Styles was in the front row at the House of Holland catwalk show on Saturday as the British label injected some Latin heat and attitude into London Fashion Week.
The pop star looked on as models strode down a cloud-printed catwalk in the top floor of a Soho car park, street-ready in bright colours and bold prints and energised by a pumping soundtrack.
Designer Henry Holland said he took his inspiration from a "trip to balmy Mexico City by way See More of the tattoo parlours of Venice Beach", where "the stench of tequila and petrol is thick in the air".
A rose tattoo motif linked the outfits, printed onto fluorescent orange or pink dresses, sewn into sexy skin-tight lace or laid into a cloud pattern and embellished with iridescent crystal.
Fierce but feminine, there were checked frocks in blues and oranges, a tight red and orange skirt, an orange bomberjacket and a white leather jacket with a print of the Virgin Mary on the back.
Holland even created co-ordinated leather holsters for his so-called "Homegirls" to store their keys and phone.
The designer has long been a favourite of Britain's 'it' crowd and Styles had to squeeze in next to Kelly Osborne, singer Ellie Goulding, socialite Pixie Geldof and fashionista Alexa Cheung.
"It was good, he did very well, I liked it," the pop star said afterwards, looking slightly out of place among the fashion pack in a white t-shirt and black jeans with holes at the knees.
Holland was the highlight of day two of the five-day London event, which showcases global British brands alongside up-and-coming designers.
Popular trio Sister by Sibling is one of those labels that has developed a reputation for fun, and this season took its inspiration from 1950s American suburban housewives -- but with a twist.
Britons Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery created an image of "domestic glamour" with pastel colours and classic swing coats, oversized jerseys and pencil skirts, accessorised with fluffy stilettos and big hair.
