I personally think we need some more privileges in. I'm losing motivation to even do anything on this site as I have more than double the required reputation for the highest privilege (disabled ads). Please give us a reason to keep making content.

They should act as representatives of the site, with an additional set of rules to follow on top of the terms already given. Those rules would be more about morality while being a mentor.
A role of a mentor would basically be, if new people need advice, they can turn to the mentors before the site owners. It's an approachable help source, basically.
If you're still here, what about using the privilege system to also introduce an opportunity for users to become mentors? A high amount of reputation points means a user is highly liked on the site, so why not use it for people to become mentors, and help the newer users? Think of it as assistants when you guys can't be around.
