Zeref is honestly a sweetheart
He just doesn't wanna hurt anyone so he stays out on his own
Till the great Sheer FLeur stumbles upon him while taking a walk
And from there comes an adorable friendship in which she gets him to do things like go to parties
And at some point the water park happens and when Natsu blows the water park up Zeref falls on top of her and accidentally kisses her
And some newspaper wrotes a story on it and they have a picture
And eh's real embarrassed and See More apologetic and she's all "nah it's cool this stuff happens when Fairy Tail's all together" and it's cuuuuuute~
And she makes food and takes it out to him every couple days because she cares~
