When Netflix displays the "Are you still watching this?" screen, do you ever just stare at it and wonder what went wrong to lead up to this point in your life

My friend is poking fun at the fact that I refused to do any other route than the Pacifist Route in Undertale
They're controlled by a computer, but the creatures actually react when you attack them. Yes, they're programmed to do exactly that, but it's more compelling than just killing some creature that is painted to have no emotions.
For example, in Half Life, if you reverse some of the dialogue said by the people controlled by the head crabs, they say stuff along the lines of See More "Help me", which makes it harder to just gun them down.
Or, maybe I just get attached to characters way too easily.

Here's my opinions of episode two of "Stranger Things":
-Barbra is a great friend for coming to the party, please treat her better, and wait-
-barbra no don't go off alone in the dark barbRA NO
-I feel bad for the Mother of Will. She's just trying her best
-Judging from the flashback, El is probably claustrophobic
-Dustin and Lucas, please accept El, your reaction is understandable but she's just scared

Sometimes, I feel like that one friend that everyone just barely tolerates, and every once in a while they go along with whatever that friend just said
