Background - Blair the Cat used to live in a giant pumpkin until Maka Albarn and Soul Eater break in to hunt her soul thinking that she's a witch because of cat like features. They kill her and Soul eats her soul to become a Death Scythe. Of course she's a magical cat with nine souls so she comes back to tell them that she wasn't really a witch and now they had to restart their mission. Now Blair lives with them and tries her best to cheer them up. In the anime she's pretty much useless and works at a club where Maka's father likes to go to. In the manga she comes along with Maka and Soul on some of their missions to help them out.
