Ever since Moonbeam was a kit, she had weird dreams consisting of cats with stars in their pelts, one of them called Graystorm. He taught her how to fight in different ways than her clan, ways that could not be beaten. She trained hard in her dreams as well as when she was awake. The day she became a warrior and received the name Moonbeam, was also the day Graystrom told her the real reason he was training her. Moonbeam was being trained to destroy an evil cat of the Dark Forest, Scarclaw. The next night, when everyone was asleep, she snuck out of camp to the Moonmist. Once she got there she took a deep breath of the mist and fell asleep. She found herself in what must be the Dark Forest. She turned and saw a huge, dark brown cat with a deep scar across his face. She that he must be Scarface and she slept. They tussled together, each getting in good bless now and then. Finally Moonbeam delivered the killing blow to Scarfaces throat and he disappeared forever. Moonbeam was rewarded by living a long, good life in the clan that she loved.
