Have you read The Iron Trial yet? I've gotten to like Chapter 3 or something. It isn't as good as TMI/TID
(I was reading White Cat by Holly Black(which is good) so I finished that first. Now I'm going back to the Iron Trial.)

Special power:Passes through everything, cannot touch anything/one alive. Can be heard by some humans, and monsters. Can possess objects and read their history, and also people with permission or if they are weak.
Backstory:Was killed in a car accident. Lingered to talk to her brother, who survived the accident and was thinking of committing suicide. When brother died of old age, Millie was stuck in the human realm unable to join See More her family in the underworld. Feeds off emotions, attracted to them like a bee to honey.l
Appearance:(in case I can't find a decent photo) Pale as the moon, wide eyes and lank black hair. Blood permanently stains her clothes, and she was 15 when she died.

Personality:Maternal, though young. She is skilled in her trade, helping many younglings into the world. Practical, non squeamish and discreet, she is not a gossip.
Special Traits:Has a soft spot for children, having lost her own. Has a memory like an elephant for who's married to who and when, who's engaged, who is more fertile and who is less.
Skills:Has experience since a young girl, learning from her mother and See More her grandmother.
Role in the tribe:Midwife
Pet:None - as a medic she knows clean hands mean less deaths.
