I was in 6th grade when I watched it. And I the reason I cried is because I strongly felt bad for the people who suffered during that. Even though I don't know anyone who dealt through it, I know they went through a lot of pain and I imagined myself in their footsteps watching my family die. That's why I cried, I can't even watch it without crying.
