You could be friends
Lapis doesn`t see eye to eye with you all the time, but you could be friends. Not as close as BFFs but she could see you as her friend. She`ll treat you like a friend and will always be loyal to you, even if it`s just to make another person feel better.
She`ll stick up for you, but that`s only cause you`re friends with her closest friend. But she still will. The only reason why you two could never be closer is because you knew she was in there, but you never freed her.
She`ll still stick up for you, but you just have to remember that she`s not your best friend. You need to depend on other ones out there, cause she won`t stick up for you in every situation. You`ll still be friends, though!
