"The cure for the ill
Is a remedy for the soul.
A band aid for the heart or See More
A wrap for the head.
The cure for the ill is the
Right medicine.
A liquid or solid,
Or my love for you.
Suddenly, in a bliss of
What feels like magic,
My scars are healed.
My head does not ache.
A gentle thumb on my face
Brushes my tears away.
You look at me with eyes
That changed my entire demeanor.
You look at me with eyes that
Mesmerize me in less than
A second.
Your pretty golden eyes.
Your long brown hair glistens
Through my tears as you
Look at me with a concerned
Expression on your face.
It is quiet now that the
Room is not filled with
My intense sobbing that
Was there just a minute ago.
But as you entered the room
And came up to me all
Bad things disappeared.
Only good things have appeared.
The pain in my stomach turns to butterflies.
The ache in my head transfers to my heart.
All memories of the pain i have endured
Are replaced by memories of me
With you.
The sensation of loneliness
That was there once before
Has turned into something
New.
My thoughts once clouded
With a gray storm surrounding,
Have transformed into sunshine
Now that I am with you.
As I lay in the bed
With my white gown on
And you caressing my cheek
I can not even think.
Your warm touch and warm face
Have me in an embrace.
Your loving heart and beautiful eyes
Have me in a loving state.
All my problems have gone away.

Your warm smile and glistening hair
Have me in a trance.
Your warm golden eyes and
Glistening hair,
Your face of concern and
Mine of despair.
The warm sensation

Has me wanting to sleep

If this is all a dream.

2023 feels like a 'face your fears' year to me ngl
-swimming; had to get in a pool
-needles; bloodwork done at least 3 times
