I also hate this:
Person: I have acrophobia, the fear of heights. I don't really like going up into tall buildings or being up high.
Person #2: Yeah, I have arachnophobia, the fear of spiders. I hate spiders! Whenever I see one, I get someone else to kill it. Spiders are creepy!
You DON'T have a PHOBIA if you're just "kind of afraid" of something. A phobia is when you are literally terrified of something, like you'd never willingly experience it, and you go to ALL lengths to See More avoid it. A phobia is when you get physically weak around it, like your knees shake, and you start sweating. If you're just "kind of afraid" of something, that's not a phobia. That's called "afraid" or "a fear." Here is the difference between a fear and a phobia:
PHOBIA
I'm doing my homework when all of a sudden I see a spider scurry across my desk. I jump up, scattering all of my pencils and papers. My heart pounds. I slowly back away. I can't see it anymore. Oh, my gosh, where IS it?!?! I start to panic, moving all the things on my desk. I finally see it standing behind my lamp. I need to get rid of it. It starts running toward me. I scream at the top of my lungs, getting as far away from it as possible. It crawls across my floor and gets even closer to me. I scream again and grab a book, trying to smash it. I bring the book down, but I can't see its body anywhere on the book or floor. Suddenly, I feel a tickle on my wrist. I look down and see the spider crawling on my arm. I let out a bloodcurdling scream. "GET IT OFF ME GET IT OFF ME OH MY GOD GET IT OFF ME GET IT OFF!!!!!!" By the time my parents come in to see what's going on, I'm frantically taking off my clothes and sobbing.
FEAR
I'm doing my homework when all of a sudden I see a spider scurry across my desk. It goes behind my lamp. I slowly move the lamp and see it. I stand up and walk away. "Dad!" I shout. "There's a spider! Come get it!" I wait, but he doesn't come, so I grab a tissue and try to smash it. It keeps evading my efforts. Finally, I feel a tickle and see it crawling up my arm. "Ahh!" I shout, brushing it off. It crawls up my neck and onto my head. "Oh my god! DAD! Help!" I shout. He eventually comes in and looks through my hair to get it out.

You shouldn't feel immature. It's called Lepidopterophobia.

Even though I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of heights (rapid breathing, dizziness, sweaty hands, once I think I almost passed out), I still hate to make a big deal out of it or look like wimp, drama queen, or scaredy-cat. Sometimes I force myself to go near the edge of a tall building or balcony just to test myself... Yeah. I hate being afraid of things (and even worse See More is bringing attention to my fears) so I try my best to scream only internally and get over them.

OK, yeah, I agree with you, but just because they say it like that doesn't necessarily mean that it's not a phobia to them. If they're anything like me, they'll admit it like it's a small fear just because they don't like getting a bunch of attention over it and don't want it to seem like a big deal; if they do stress it, then they feel guilty about being an See More overly emotional and overbearing brat (not saying that anybody who does stress it IS, just that when I do it makes me feel annoying and needy). And there are different ways of having a phobia; just because it's a phobia doesn't mean that you go to all lengths to avoid it.

This REALLY annoys me:
Me: I have emetaphobia, the fear of throwing up.
Other people: Oh, yeah, I understand - I hate throwing up, too.
Me: ...
Emetaphobia is NOT "hating throwing up." It is the FEAR of vomiting. I literally get physically weak whenever someone near me talks about throwing up or does throw up. If my sister calls for my parents in the middle of the night, I get terrified. I ask my parents, "Did she throw up?!?!" If my parents go in her room in the middle of the See More night and stay in there for a while and the lights go on, in the morning, I tie a shirt around my mouth and try not to breathe if I have to get out of my room. I also start feeling physical symptoms, even though I'm never actually ill.

Me: *at a theme park* *sees ride I've ridden before* I wanna ride it again! It was scary, but I'm going to ride it!
My sister: I- I guess I'll ride it too....
My mom (she is TERRIFIED of heights; this ride is a VERY TALL ride) : I'm going to face my fears and ride this too!
My sister: Actually I won't...
*we get in line*
People behind us: *talking about how scary it was*
My mom: *has anxiety attack* Uh..... sorry, you're on your own on this one! I can't do this! *gets out of the See More line*
*it's my turn*
Me: *slowly gets in seat* *sees my mom, dad, and sister behind the railing*
My mom: Sorry!
Me: Um... *gets out of seat* I've changed my mind! *feels like a total loser as I make my way back through the line in front of EVERYONE ELSE*
My mom: Why'd you change your mind?
Me: WHY DO YOU THINK? You were going on and on about how scary it was and what bad things could happen! YOU CHANGED MY MIND.
*we go on to the next ride; my dad and sister spend about 20 minutes on a bumper boat ride*
Me: *very hungry, thirsty, and hot* (thinking) I'm such an idiot! I should have ridden that! *trying not to cry* *starts crying* Nice going, you STUPID CHICKEN! You MISSED your CHANCE!
Yes, I know. I, a 12 year old, BURST INTO TEARS over the fact that I didn't go on a ride. So mature.
(By the way, I ended up going on some other scary/fun rides. I managed to cheer up and have fun the rest of the time there, but that still hangs on my mind. XD )

Me: *says two sentences to my dad*
My dad: *interrupts me* I don't want to hear any of your long stories. You're bombarding me! I wish I had the last minute of my life back.
Me: Um, I was just telling you a five-sentence story.

GalacticBiRavenclaw added a new chapter to Strange Dreams I Have
President Harris
I see a resignation letter from a President Wilfred Harris (or something like that). Then, I'm transported back in time. The Harris guy is sitting in a dentist's chair. He's a wizard. "I resign from office!" he says.
Then we're teleported into a flashback to his presidential days. He's trying to take down this evil master guy and also a squid. How does he do this? Well, to get to the evil guys, there are these tall rock towers. He jumps from tower to tower. Once, he slips and falls in the swa... Read Full Chapter

The Sleepover
(This actually happened during the same night that the last chapter and the next chapter happened. I just can't remember which order I dreamed them in.)
Apparently, there's this girl I hate. Her mom makes her invite me over for a sleepover. I get there, and we're both fuming, because she hates me too.
Something happens (I don't remember what) and then she asks me if I want to hear about the "Lybe Ducks" or something. I accept. She shows me figurines of these weird frog-shaped things.

Time Travel
I was taking a video of myself, saying, "Hello, my name is [my name], and I think I am going to be the first person to time travel."
Then, I time traveled back to like 1960-something. I walked into a family's dining room while they were eating. I told them how I time traveled, and they (of course) didn't believe me. Then I said something that convinced them, and THEN I traveled back to the present day, where I did a three-way FaceTime call with someone from 1903 and the 1960s person. Somehow,... Okay, so since November 10, I've been sick - first I felt nauseated and had a sore throat and body aches, then came chest pain and fever, and now I have a bad cough and all the snot in my nose is pretty much streaming out 24/7, which is unpleasant. Anyway, with my cough now, it's like... I inhale and my lungs tickle, and I'm like "Oh no.." and then I start HACKING up some phlegm, but it only takes a few strong coughs. Then when I finish, I'm all like "Phew..." but then I start See More talking. I go, "Hey, this is kind ofhuh huh cough cough cough cough cough... kind ofcough cough cough... just a minutecough cough cough..."
Lol, this sickness is terrible. I caught it from my dad - sore throat, body aches, etc. - or so I thought. Our symptoms actually differed in many ways. But then my mom caught this from me, except she has a FULL-BLOWN cough, and it turns out she's got a sinus infection. It's a habit for me to say "Are you okay?" whenever she starts coughing, but my dad's like "Jeez, she can't talk right now!" so.. XD My sister (@PurplePanda_50) is the only one untouched so far. LUCKY.
