And in it's wake

A starry figure wandered the night sky looking for something.Upon a closer inspection the starry figure was a grey wolf with white ears,white paws,a white muzzle with a tinge of grey,the wolf also had a white tail with a black tip.The wolf wandered the skies away from the other ceased members that walked the skies.The wolf shuddered See More as she looked over an abandoned town.The wolf ran throughout the sky trying to find a way to get down to the town.She finally found her own way of getting down.Her starry frame was barely visible as she walked past the gray and white walls of the town.The wolf glanced over checking if she could find the same lithe orange figure that she had traveled with for so long.The faint sound of snoring made it’s way to her ears.She quickly followed the sound in hope to find her friend she had traveled with for so long.She quickly skirted the corner and into an abandoned shed.Her tail started to wag slightly.This was the friend she had been searching for!She padded over and curled up by her friend.She drifted off next to her prodding at her dreams so she could reassure the orange she-cat.The cat jolted awake in a clearing strangely silent.Her fur rose in panic as the cat thought she was going to watch her friend's death over again.The cat jumped as the bushes rustled behind her.A starry figure walked out from the bushes.The cat gasped.The starry figure that walked out wasn’t just any canine...It was wolfy!The orange she-cat let out a choked purr and dashed over to touch noses with her friend.The wolf paused and smiled.She bent her head and touched noses with the cat.The wolf settled onto her side and cuddled the cat close.Her starry figure faded and was replaced with her physical fur.She looked healthy and strong like she used to when they left the forest.The orange she-cat buried her face into the wolf’s fur.”I thought you were gone..”the cat mumbled and pressed herself closer.The wolf smiled and flicked her tail.”Well i’m here now aren’t I?”the wolf chuckled as she started to fade a bit.”Remember i’ll always be with you..”She butted the cat’s shoulder affectionately and stood looking up to the sky above the clearing.”I have to go now..you're waking up.”The wolf’s figure started to fade more and more until she was nothing more.The cat spun around looking for her friend.”Wait!”she yowled.”Don’t go!”The cat sighed and sat down looking up at the sky.
