Here's my essay for a dumb book. Idkey why I'm posting it, but I'm bored.
The story Snowbound theme is about teamwork. Though you may need to do it in basic activities, it took a lot of fighting between Tony and Cindy to make them work together; whether or not in a life-or-death situation. The theme in Snowbound is teamwork.
An example in Snowbound’s theme is when Cindy and TOny work together to get the hood off on the car for a sled to carry their things on page 116. See More It originally started when Tony tried to just yank off the car’s hood. Cindy then found a rock and bashed off the hood’s hinges. Eventually with one hinge to get off, both Cindy and Tony twist off the final hinge and place down the hood; Tony puts on a rope to make a sled. They then take turns pushing the sled.
Speaking of pushing a sled, Cindy and Tony act stupidly and ride the sled down the hill; breaking Tony’s ankle. Though the rest of the story, Tony tries to get Cindy to leave his ankle alone. But, the ankle is obviously broken, so without CIndy asking Tony if it was OK, she puts a “cast” that will work until they get to civilisation. CIndy also helps Tony walk and pulls the sled at the same time. Then, later on, Cindy without asking or hesitation tightens Tony’s “cast”; he bickers and whines for her doing it for a bit.
Going back in the story a bit, Tony goes out of the car to find help. While doing so, he reaches a cabin. With no one there, but some supplies for being out in the wilderness; blankets and food. Tony stays there for a few days then heads back to the car. When he gets back, Cindy is reluctant for him to be back with some supplies. They then pack up and head out looking for civilisation.
Eventually, they get back to civilisation; Cindy goes to live with his family in Canada, while Tony lives with his family in New York. Though they were fighting and had arguments, they still used teamwork to make it back to civilisation with minor harm. With these examples, in the story Snowbound the theme was teamwork.

So a I have a Catholic friend. She grew up in a Cathlic school and all that stuff.
Anyways, yesterday, we got on the subject of her religion and same sex marriage, abortion, etc.
She said that if it's a rape baby, endangering the mother's or child's health, or too young (under 18) it's OK to get an abortion. But, don't get it so late in pregnancy. On the other hand though, she finds it OK to have an abortion before 18 weeks, because that is when its gender is identified in that See More stage of development.
On the topic of same sex marrage, she says you love who you love, God made you that way.
Y'know, this is Catholic, I think some Catholics who are saying abortion and same sex marrage is a sin, need to listen to this girl. And she's only 12.

But yay you! Unlike society, you use a brain! XD
But for realziez some people are just morons and think everything to do with same sex marrage and abortion is wrong.

At my school's Fun Nights, which are basically clubs for our age, during slow songs, two of the same sex can't slow dance together.
My friend and I every Fun Night will go up to the DJ (which is the one who will yell at the same sex kids for dancing together) and yell at him "What the Hell?!? This is a public school! You can't stop same sex genders from dancing together!" Or something along those lines and walk away.

At one of my friends schools that she used to go to, you weren't allowed to dye your hair an unnatural color.
@DestinyLion
I don't like those. Either way, I dye all the hair on my head. (Not including eyebrows)

@seippup12 Currently it's brown. I had to swap over to a natural color for a bit because my hair was getting used to the brand that I used for unnatural colors, so it wouldn't stay in. I'm planning in a few weeks to dye it either pink or blue.

I hate how at a lot of these schools in America you are forced to say the pledge. I mean, I get that it's to show respect to your country, but what about that "One nation, under God." Part? What if the child's Athiest or Agnostic?
I understand why- because the pledge was created in a very religious America- but I agree with what you're saying.
Personally what I don't like about saying the pledge (and why I don't say it) is because I don't see why I should pledge to something that isn't a physical being, that has the potential to fall into nothingness.

In my Elementry school you weren't allowed to say the word "Gay". Do note this was a public school.
That's like a summer camp I went to. Me and my friends are like "but that's like saying 'you can't say you're married or straight!'" Like wtf?! Little rude isn't it?

@KameoRose
I understood both meanings because I have older brothers who had higher vocabulary than me at the time. So one day during lunch, I asked the kids in my grade if they knew what it ment, they had no clue. So I told them the "happy" definition. So I went around the table saying "I'm gay, Leland's gay, Erin's gay, Philip's gay" ect, I'm shocked I didn't See More get caught. XD

At my school you're not allowed to wear elastics, whether for hair or not, on your wrist or automatic detention.
OK that's stupid. I wear my hair up all the time and then I get tired of having it up so I just wear the headband on my wrist.

Me: "Why do we have to go to school?"
Society: "To learn."
Me: "To learn what."
Society: "How to be a adult when you're older."
Me: "Why's learning abstract math mandatory while learning how to pay taxes isn't even thought about to be taught?"
Society: "Erm.... Principle office. Now."
Me: "No. You are not my legal guardian. I do not have to do what you say." See More
Society: "But I'm an adult. You must do what I say."
Me: "So if a man over the age of 18 told me to get into a white windowless van, you would expect me to follow his orders. Because he's an adult?"
Society: "Well umm..."
Me: "And what about in Elementry school when we were taught not to do what people want us to do when they seem suspicious? I mean, the government seems suspicious, do I have to follow them then?"
I'm tired about the "I'm an adult I'm superior than you" crap. No we were made equally. And plus how trashed the education is.
I hardly do this, but re-post if you agree.
