as much as i love kurt cobain and nirvana, i feel like he gets way too much credit for his voice. ESPECIALLY when it's compared to the likes of chris cornell. yeah, the dude's got pipes, but he doesn't have the range like chris. i made a poll a while back on whether who had a better voice: kurt or chris, and so many biased answers from people who've never even listened to a soundgarden song. you don't even to search far to find a song that captures his talent. black hole sun literally See More is a perfect example of chris's voice. i'm not tryna undermine kurt's talent bc i love that man and his voice, but it doesn't sit well with me that ppl think that he had a better voice than chris only bc they've never heard of soundgarden or haven't listened to chris's voice.
