Pet Peeve #1: Pity Parties
Okay, just a scenario: You're at your friend's house, and there's three people there, including yourself. Your friend asks "If there was a huge party and you could on bring two people, who would it be?" Let's say your friends' names are Katy and Fiona. Fiona asked the question up above. Lets say you chose Fiona and some random guy named Rick. Fiona chooses a girl Jane and Rick too. Katy chooses a girl named Danielle and a guy named George. Katy gets See More mad because you and Fiona didn't pick her. She starts complaining and self-pitying and acting up, saying, "I guess no one's my friend," or "I have no real friends," and such. Doesn't that get you mad? You didn't get picked from her.
That's one my pet peeves. It's okay to feel excluded or alone, but pity-parties are one of the things that get on my nerves. Honestly. Sure, I've had some, but it's rare. I could understand if you were 3-9 years old having pity-parties, but for teenagers? Come on. That's pathetic. You need to man up to your problems. When you become an adult, pity-parties will NOT get you anywhere in life. So start now and try to overcome that bad habit.
(Just my opinion, don't judge)
