My friend once asked me why I love my fandoms.
I responded like this.
When we see our fandoms, we don't just see an amazing array of characters. We don't just see an incredible plot, or fantastical lands that Earth can never be, or villains worse than our own leaders. And we definitely don't see just a book, or a TV show, or a movie, or even a webcomic. No, whenever we see our fandoms, we see friends. We see those who can relate to all of our joys, pain and suffering. When we See More step back into that universe, we see our friends, welcoming us with open arms. And when we see fellow fans of that show, movie, book or webcomic, others who can bear with us throughout the twists and turns of life and the fandoms, we find our true family.
That is why I love my fandoms.
