After all the panic about "fake news" and everything, I decided to take it into my own hands to make sure I'm an informed member of society
So I downloaded the BBC app.
It seems like every couple of weeks there's another terrorist attack
More people dead or dying or injured
And I never even HEAR about all this shit without this app

People are dying because of this shit and I'm never even told about it. Terrorism is treated like this distant threat - a war that not many people are in and that isn't actually that important except when my granddad wants to scream about how "all Muslims are evil!!"
I just.. I don't know.
It seems horrible to me that this war is constantly killing people - ending LIVES - and nobody treats it like a big deal except to make political points. It's disturbing.

The shame is when you act on/despite ignorance. When you claim to know everything even when you don't, or when you make big decisions despite not being fully informed on a subject.

But Romeo and Juliet were thirteen year old kids who dated for like two days before dying for each other.

The moment I fell in love with Shakespeare was when I started reading Romeo and Juliet, expecting dumb romance and shit but instead getting two servant dudes making puns and sex jokes and flipping off some guy they didn't like and then having to check with their buddy like "aaaa wait should I fight him or should I chill" and idk man just all of that was great but my teacher got mad at me for laughing at the sexual jokes which made it even better

I don't think that Qfeast actually enforces those "rules," though, so it's not really a big deal I don't think

Just uploaded screenshots of Qfeast's story rules. I was previously unaware of the fact that you're not allowed to write stories that promote any particular worldview (political, religious, etc.) and now I'm baffled and angry and amused.

If modern TV has taught me anything, it's that inviting "just a few people" over without specifying exactly which people and requiring them to come alone will end in hell
