The True Metal War

The True Metal War

The True test of man vs metal, as metal shall be clashing in epic conflict. The story is about a young boy Joshua Smith...Sound familiar? Well this is the same guy. But! This is if he had changed his life. Instead of becoming a runner he became a engineer. He joined the 600th tank regiment and well this is what happens when you put Josh in a tank. (I am also open for people to join, I don't have a form so use common sense. Two things however here you need to tell me if you wanna be a super soldier or not. And what position on a tank, gunner, heavy gunner, driver so on)

Mouthing off

Josh's POV
--------------------------------
I was in the tank with my crew, Greg was tending to my leg. The radio was going mad. "Jackson turn that shit off" I told him.
"Thought you'd never say that" He instantly turned it off.
Davis was sat at the control section of the tank "About 46 kliks out".
"Got it" I replied.
"You think we have any hope Josh?" Jackson asked.
"I'm a pessimistic person, but yeah...I think we do"
"Fair enough" He said, looking down the the tank cannon camera.

We stopped the tank at checkpoint one. Us and many others turned up. Me and the guys got out the tank. We were walking when I heard a woman shouting. "What's going on? Stop standing around and do something!" I heard that Jackie say.
I looked over to see my little brother in front of her. "But ma'am I-"
"I buts sort it out!" She yelled at him.
I walked up to them. "OI! Pick on someone your own size!"
She turned and looked at me, I seemed to have attracted attentions from pretty much everyone, most people already knew shit just got real. "Oh it's you again, get to your post Sargent!"
I walked right up to her. "Mistake number one: My post in checkpoint two! Mistake number two: Don't yell at me OR my brother! Mistake number three: I am the field commander, you do as your boss tells you, and I tell people what to do!"
"Excuse me! Do you know who you are talking too?" She said.
Funny thing was...I did. "Private class 1 Jackie May, went on to become a commander because she volunteered to be a genetic. Has a issue with being told what to do, hence why she chose her role quickly. You had trouble with shooting so you took up a tank job. And now here you are, with one year of experience in combat and one year of training. Arguing with someone with 5 years of experience, a commander role on standby due to turning it down, and 2 years of training. You joined 2 years ago and are the same age as me 23, I joined at 16. I'm a dedicated tank commander, what have you got on that?"
She took her time to reply, everyone after this point got back to what they were doing. "I-I...How?"
"Get on my level" I looked at my brother and then back at her.
"How dare yo-?"
"GET OUT OF MY SITE!" I yelled at the top of my voice.
"Don't you t-"
"NOW!" And with that she left. I still don't know how bad my shouting is. Apparently I could give Gordon Ramsay a run for him money. I looked at my brother, he was only 19. "You alright mate?"
"Yeah, I heard what happened! You okay?" He asked me. Looking at my leg.
"I'll shake it off. Go on, get back to it" I told him smiling.
"Okay, bye bro!" He said and ran off. He's eager to be like me, that's what I'm worried about.
