Scenario #1 [Mello x Theo]
Synopsis: Meliodas and Theodore get into an argument; both say things they don't mean but after the eruption, it's too late to rewind time.《Theo-Centered Perspective》
•"You're just a filthy demon, what would you know about suffering other than what you cause to others?" the usually passive angel snapped, balling his hands into fists as his greyish-mauve eyes narrowed.
The previously walking away demon paused before whipping around on his heel, a wide grin on his face, one that sent shivers down Theo's very spine; one bordering on insanity. The demon's right eye had a violet flame emitting from it. Oh, he was angry alright.
"And what would you know of pain dearest angel of mine?" Mello asked, voice smooth and betraying little of his true emotions. If anything, he seemed amused. In an instant, his demeanour changed to cold, perhaps even hostile.
"You know absolutely nothing, Theodore. You don't know of the pain of being strapped down to a metal table, the humiliation of having your wings ripped from you, plucked feather by feather as others laughed. The feeling of being lashed deep enough to leave scars, or of being exiled, hated upon by your very own family, cast aside and seen as a disgrace. So don't give me that bullshit. No, you, who dresses in pure white and acts as naive as a newly born child know nothing of pain, of falling from grace."
"...Is that what happened to you?" Theodore's tone softened as he stared p at Meliodas, a trace of pity and some unknown emotion in his eyes. Meliodas was silent, turning his back once more.
"I don't want pity, least of all yours." The demon muttered but Theodore still heard it.
The angel’s gaze hardened.
"Great. Big deal. If you don't want pity than stop wallowing in it. Guess what? You're not the only one, and there's always someone who's had it worse. So reality check, you're not the star of the show, you're not even that special. Sure, it sucks, but grow up. Deal with it. Life isn't always fair." The angel spoke in a clipped tone, watching as the demon glanced over his shoulder.
His gaze...The hurt almost suffocated him. He felt his heart and soul squeeze painfully in protest, a part of hin calling him to take back everything, that this was wrong and he should apologize, but he remained resolute in his words.
"...If that's the way it is, then so be it. I thought...I thought you'd be different. You're just like the rest, how you regained your grace is a wonder to me," with that last scathing remark, Meliodas flew off.
Theodore watched him go and only when the demon was gone, allowed his cold exterior to crumble. That last remark hurt, had hit him right where it hurt and played at all his insecurities; that he wasn't good enough, would never be.
"I fear...We really messed it up this time," the angel let out a hollow laugh, one that sounded so broken and hopeless, even to his ears.
