The second lesson
And so, for another five years, Rod learned nature, he observed it, as he asked, "Why", and "how". And finally, he realized it. Nature simply exists, it is what it is. It is humans that give nature meaning, beauty, or wrath. Therefor, one must have a sound mind in order to be one with nature, to be judge free, and to love it. Thus, becoming one with it.The old man arrived, as if he saw through Rod's mind.
"Your second lesson is to answer me this question: Why are you going through this?", said the old man.
"Because I want to know the truth", Replied Rod.
"Then you are not ready", said the old man.
And so, for one year, Rod contemplated on the answer, until he's reached a conclusion. And then, the old man came...
"The answer is that there is no answer. To be one with all, I must simply live, and know, and not ask. For if I ask, it means that I do not know. But if I know, I don't need to ask".
"good", said the old man.
