We didn't stand a chance surviving unless we found a place to stay before night fall. Any animals could be out there and we had no idea what the temperature is like at night. Alexandra, Michael, pj, and I went out to find a good place and gather wood fro shelter and a fire. I spotted a cluster of trees with long vines touching the ground perfect for a hideout. It was almost a shelter inside it just needed some improvements. It was only a few minute walk from where we landed. The sun started setting and a fire had been built. The people who were in the best conditions had made the place inhabitable for the night. We had started a fire there as well and put chairs and we only had time to make two hamiks out of vines. We led all eight people to the camp and arrived right when the sun had finished setting. The people who were most injured slept in the hamiks and the rest of us tried to get comfortable on the ground.
Even on the bed of leafs i could still feel the hard ground beneath me but I wasn't one to complain. It felt like hours that I was laying there staring at the trees wide awake with pains all over my body. Sleep finally found me and all to soon I woke up with sun shinning in my face, stiff from sleeping on the ground.

I smiled when I pictured some one dead.
