Don't Hate The Player; Hate The Game
Hiding in the back, I watched as my twenty wolves grew impatient. The time had rose for my wolves to feed, so if vampires were around, I gave clearance to kill. Rubbing my paw in the floor, I wondered where they were. Did they know about us? Feeling the wind blow my white fur, I heard the sound of laughter emerge from the distance, the smell of alcohol filled the air as I watched two humans fall to the ground. Vampires would pick them up and shoved them go continue as they grew closer. On my cue, I howled when they were in the middle of the ambush.
Wolves of every color exploded from the bushes jumping onto of vampires and ripping their heads of as black blood exploded from the inside. Looking around, I noticed only two drunk humans here. Where were the others? As my wolves ate on the vampire remains, I turned into my human form in a tight short sleeved leather jacket, black skinny jeans, and black combat boots and looked around. The van holding the supplies smelled to me full, but I could hear scuffling in the back. Gripping my hand on the door, I quickly pulled it open. Humans laid in there tied up with blood types wrote in large letters on their shirts. Of course.
"Wolves, we retrieve the humans and bring them to the castle. Give them food and water. Then, come to me when they feel better." Giving my orders, I walked away from the corpses and humans. They are willing giving humans up to be fed on or worse changed. Hurrying to the castle, I walked inside the throne room to see Ren smiling.
"Looks like you are ok." Ren smiled.
"They were going to give humans away to be feed on. How could they?" I mentioned biting my nails. I always bite my nails when I am annoyed.
"They aren't like us. They don't help each other like us." Ren added on.
"I know, but it disguists me." I continued as I heard the door open. A blonde haired green eyed young man walked in with a general uniform tightly on his tan skin. Smiling, Brandon always knew the right time to come in. Due to the war, I ordered Bradnon to be my general when it came to anything.
"My lady, we have news. Ships from Britian have sailed into harbors.."
Before he could finish, I interuppted, "Let me guess. Supplies, ammo, soilders, and vampires."
Shocked, he looked down at the floor. "Yes, my queen. What is your plan?" Brandon laid a map of the area on the floor as I sat down and looked at it. The terrain seemed to be an open area where wolves are not good at. With the new guns found today, we could be able to attack in an open field, but that idea would be risky. I could not figure out how to do the attack. Until, it hit me.
"Why not lure them out?" I suggested.
"What do you mean?" Ren added looking confused.
"Remember when the sirens' princess got lost on land, and we found her?" I commented smiling over the thought.
"Of course! She was drunk off her butt trying to flirt with a table." Ren laughed remembering.
"Well, we could use them to distract the ships coming near port. Sirens do get human lust once and a while so maybe a few deaths. Then, while they are distracting, we take out the humans and vampires who came to retrieve the supplies. After that, the sirens will lay off while the ship goes to regular plans. Boom. The supplies snd ammo is ours." I commented as Brandon looked at me funny.
"Are you sure about sirens, my lady? They are not known to be trusted. Also, why do you need these supplies?" Brandon added. Sirens only care about their own kind and are very stuck up. They remind me of the popular group at a human school.
"True. They can't be, but they don't hate us. They hate vampires. The supplies are for extra precaution. I have a feeling human rebels will come to our side soon." I informed seeing a black dark spirt fill the air. Not this again. The dark black spirt wolf stood in my vision with its dark red eyes looking at me. The darkness inside beckoned me to kill since I did not at the battle. Shaking my head, I had grown to ignore it over the years while I talked with the boys.
"How will we make communications?" Ren asked.
"Brandon, get one of the siren bottles and write a letter for meet me at the castle." I ordered standing up. Looking at how much the sun went down, I suggested that the hostages should be ready by now. Each hostage or prisoner has their own rooms, so I could investigate alone. Walking into the first one, I noticed a guy leaning against the black walls with his blue skirt and blue jeans almost glued onto his muscular pale skin. Still wearing the clothes from the fight, I had pulled my white hair up and smiled at the guy. His black hair circled around his face with his brown eyes were hardly see able.
"Well, shouldn't I feel honored a beautiful murder is here?" The guy glared at me with his brown eyes locked on me. The guy appeared to me my age if not a little older. My heart almost skipped a beat. Why did I feel this way? I mean I hang out with all the guys here, so why does this guy make me feel weird?
"Thanks to me you are not vampire food." I mentioned pulling my white ponytail on my shoulder. The nerve of him to say that when it was me who saved him.
"Oh, you got me there." He commented getting off the wall. "Still, why am I here? To join the dogs?" I felt my blood boil. I am not a dog!
"Actually, I want answers." I calmed myself trying not to explode. "When is Lucian and your president planning on attacking?"
"Hell if I know. We were told to join to war we must get stronger." The guy shrugged his shoulders and laid on the single bed in the middle of the room.
"Get stronger? Do you mean turn you?" I suggested shutting the door and walking closer inside.
"I have no idea. Then, they told us we would hate the idea of growing stronger, so we had to get tied up." When he said that, I knew they were turning humans.
"Why were the blood types in your shirts?" I asked growing angry.
"They said in case getting stronger does not work." The guy seemed to know nothing. I picked the wrong one first. "But, I have been curious. Did you really kill Tyler?"
Confused, I wondered why he cared about Tyler. "No. I was here. I could not tell the jury at the time that."
"Really now? Then, who did?" His brown eyes seemed curious over my answers. Maybe, he knew more than what he is saying.
"From the information my wolves have found out, it was either a rogue wolf or a vampire. Our focus has not been on the case." I asked honestly.
"Would make sense now. Oh, well I guess they need every little lie they can get." He suggested staring at the ground.
He did know more. "What is your name, human?" I added trying to show my role as the queen.
"Human?" He laughed. "The name is Zachary Fitzgerald. Just call me Zach."
"What role do you play, Zach?"
"I am just a solider. Nothing else."
"You might come in handy." I suggested turning around and walking out the door.
"Hey, wolf Queen. What is your name?" He asked as I turned my back to him.
Turning around, I put a large white smile on my face and answered, "Ebony, but you knew that."
"I just wanted to hear it from you, Queen Ebony." I heard him picking on me. "What is for dinner? I like rabbits if you guys eat that."
Giggling, I realized how interesting Zach was. "What ever the chef wants to eat I guess."
"Well, could you bring it to me? If queen does that?" He asked putting a smirk on his face. My heart had been beating fast the entire time.
"I bring it to you? Why?" I wondered why he wanted me to bring him food.
"Cause I need a splash of beautiful with my dinner." A splash of beautifull? He thinks I'm beautiful. I felt my face start to blush as I looked away.
"Will you tell me what you know?" I asked knowing he knew more than he was telling.
"Smart girl. If you come back, I will." Zach winked at me as I walked out the door. This Zach guy seemed very strange, but I knew I needed the information he knew. Looking at the line of doors with people in them, I decided to let Ren do the rest. I was quiet tired and wanted out of this outfit.
Walking to my chambers, I felt my head began to ache. All the fighting and war was going to be the death of me. I just knew it. Thinking about what I said to Zach, I wondered what the chef was cooking. Entering my chambers, I noticed a black dress on my bed. The cleaners must had brought it back.
Taking off my fighting clothes, I put on the low cut Victorian dress with long sleeves and looked at the clock. Dinner should be ready. Exiting my chambers, I noticed Brandon walking towards me. "The Sirens responded."
"That was quick." I said walking towards the kitchen.
"Well, they have agreed. The queen will be here tomorrow morning." Brandon followed me.
"Of course. They can't do it at night."
"Why would they?" He asked as we stood in front of the kitchen.
"Vampires." I answered as the staff all bowed. I smiled and asked for my food as well as a prisoners food. They seemed confused but did not asked. One of the staff carried Zach's and mine dinner to Zach's room. Nodding my head, I motioned him to go inside. The staff member opened the door and walked in. Handing Zach his food and placing mine on the table, the staff membered bowed and left.
"Wow. A dress?" Zach stared at me.
"Normally." I said cutting my steak.
"Why do you get steak?" Zach said eating his chicken.
"I'm the Queen. End of story."
"Well, what did you want to know?"
"Everything."
"Well, your father plans on luring you out."
"How?"
"With the ships."
