Where are the Shoes!
It was a new morning and Frankie, Draculaura, and Cleo all went to Clawdeens house to help her pack for her trip to her new boarding school. Frankie and the ghouls walked up to Clawdeens front door. They stepped on a bronze mat that said Wolfs with a bunch of paw prints around it. They rang the doorbell. Clawdeen rushed down their wooden stair case a opened the door." Frankie, Draculaura, Cleo, so glad you could make it. I've already made a bunch of plans for us to do," Clawdeen blurted with excitement rushing through her veins, " Are your parents going to that meeting with Bloodgood?" "Yeah," Draculaura and Cleo said in unison. "Um… I think they're going. I'm not sure," Frankie said hesitantly. " Im pretty sure he's going," Clawdeen said trying to give sympathy. The ghouls walked up the stair and headed to Clawdeen's bedroom.
When the ghouls got there, there was a big bold C on the wooden door. When they opened the door a big breeze flew right in their faces. To the left of her bedroom sat her bed in the middle. There was a lavender suit case with a gold handle. Clawdeen went over to her closet and opened the doors. Her closet was filled with clothes. " Where are the shoes, or... or the pants, or…or the skirts?" Draculaura squealed in a high pithed voice. " Ghoul. You think I wouldn't have that stuff," Clawdeen said as she glared at Draculaura.
Clawdeen walked over to four white drawers walked up on top of each other. Clawdeen opened the first two. They were full of skirts. All kinds of skirts. Pencil skirts, flouncy skirts, long and wavy skirts. Clawdeen shut the top two and opened the bottom two before she saw Draculaura's lips move. The two bottom was full of pants. "But what about the shoes and the bathing suits-" Clawdeen interrupted Draculaura. " Ghoul, Im getting their."
Clawdeen walked over to four more white drawers stalked up. She opened the first two. They were filled with shirts. They were collared shirts, halter tops, tank tops. Then she opened the bottom two. Their war bathing suits. One pieces and two pieces. Sill no shoes. Draculaura had a pouty face, but didn't say anything. Clawdeen walked over to her bathroom connected to her room. Clawdeen opened all the white draws above her sink. There was makeup, jewelry, hairband, hairbrushes, all kinds of stuff. Yet, still no shoes. Draculaura was a little excited with the markup and jewelry, but she still was sad. Where are the shoes she thought. Then Clawdeen smiled. She walked out of her bathroom and down the hall. Draculaura saw a big brown wooden closet. " Are you ready?" Clawdeen asked the ghouls. They all nodded. Clawdeen swung open the brown wooden doors. In it was a mountain full of shoes. There were platforms, wedges, flats, heels, sneakers, sandals, boots. All that a ghoul could imagine. Draculaura was so happy.
The ghouls did their own thing. Draculaura picked out the shoes. Cleo picked out her bathing suits and T-shirts. Frankie picked out her skirts and pants. Last Clawdeen picked out her dresses.
" Are there enough suit cases?" Draculaura asked suspiciously. Their were five suit cases scattered around her room. " Yeah, I'll go get some more from the basement," Clawdeen told her," Hey, Frankie. Could you help me get the suit cases?" " Yeah. Sure," Frankie concluded.
The ghouls walked down the stairs to her basement. The basement had furniture, collars, surf boards. Everything. Frankie and Clawdeen walked through all the stuff. Over to a corner with bunch of suit cases. They were all labeled with names. Mom, Dad, Clawdeen, Clawd, Howleen, and Clawdia. " Just take the ones that say Clawdeen and Clawdia," Clawdeen whispered to Frankie. " Why Clawdia? Wont she get mad?" Frankie asked. " No. She never uses them, so she lets me use them," Clawdeen replied.
The Ghouls walked back up the stair with about ten suit cases. " Oh good. That ought to be enough," Draculaura said happily.
The ghouls went to work. Clawdeen was scrummaging through her dresses and found this dress she hasn't worn in a long time. Clawdeen pulled out the dress. It was a little dusty and hidden in the back corner of the closet. But she managed to get the dust off. It was a navy blue mini dress with a yellow rim around the collar. Clawdeen turned and asked the ghouls if she should bring the dress. The ghouls examined the dress. They all said," Ya. Sure. It looks good." To Clawdeen's ears it didn't sound very promising but she went along and put it in one of her suit cases.
