Cana was terrified. It was very large, with 6 spiderlike legs and a huge eye planted on its face. Some kind of green goo dripped from its fangs. It scuttled towards her, eye focused on Cana's angelic face. Not knowing what to do, Cana grabbed a stick that was lying on the ground, and stabbed its eye.Hard.
The monster let out the scream of a thousand tortured souls. It suddenly exploded, splattering Cana's face and white gown with a slimy green substance. Cana grimaced, wiping some of the muck from her cheek. Then she saw a small key glinting in the dim light. She quickly grabbed the key and inserted it into the lock, opening the door. Not yet free, but one step closer.

"G...Get away from me!" Sonata yelled, unsheathing his sword. He felt a cold hand on his shoulder, causing chills to slither down his spine. "No, Sonata. You must defeat me first...Unlikely that would happen..."
"So you wanna fight!? I'll fight you!!" But before the boy could even make a move, the shadow disappeared, and everything went black...
