Tormented Life

Autumn and Shannon

I walk slowly in and look around. I see food, students, tables, chairs and well pretty much everything you see in a cafeteria. I look over at a table where two girls sit. They both have silver blonde hair and have the same sort of face. The only difference is one wears their hair tied up with a white shirt, the other wears their hair down with a black shirt.

I grab my food and walk over to them.
"Hi, can I please sit with you?" I ask politely. They look at me kindly and then turn to each other.
"Of course you can, my name is Autumn," Says the girl with the pony tail.
"And I'm Shannon,' The other girl adds. I smile and sit down with them. Suddenly I see Daniel walk over to us and sit down. The girls wave at him and welcome him. He smiles back at them. I'm guessing all of them are friends. Daniel then pokes his head around the girls and notices me sitting there, eating my nachos.
"Nice nachos?" he questions. I nod enthusiastically.
"They are delicious," I explain. He picks up his lunch and plonks himself down in the spare seat next to me. I know I'm blushing because I can feel my face burning hotter than these nachos. I look at his lunch. All I see is a pile of chips and half a brownie.
"Why don't you have a proper lunch?" I ask curiously.
"I got to the cafeteria late and this was all that was left," he replies. I look at my nachos. I've eaten half of it and am not so hungry anymore.
"Have the rest of my nachos," I order. He looks at me with a face that reads : 'Really I can have them?' I nod furiously.
"Thank you so much Fay, I'm starving," he tells me. I blush even more.
We all sit there and eat our lunch together, laughing the whole time.
RIIIING!!
I shield my ears as the bell rings through the school.
"Hey show me your schedule," Autumn asks. I hand it to her and she suddenly has a very excited look on her face. "We're all in art together!" she squeals and looks at Daniel, Shannon and I for our reactions. Shannon and I look at each other with delighted looks on our faces. I turn to Daniel and we look at each other in the eye by accident. Just like at the gate. He fills me and replaces my insides with jelly. His smile is kind and heart warming.
"Come on lovebirds, it's time for art!" Shannon teases. I punch her in the arm then we all burst out laughing.
"Oww," Shannon complains. We all laugh harder.
"Ok, as much as I hate to side with my sister, you guys do look like that," Autumn says in between giggles. I glance at Daniel to find him doing the same thing. We turn away from each other and blush furiously.
