Tormented Life

Kiss

We stare at each other, I can feel his breath on my face, I smile, he smiles. He blushes, I blush. We both lean in close. We kiss. I feel like time has frozen and the only things alive are Dan and I. We both reluctantly pull back.
"I wish I could stay but I have to be back at the orphanage before five," He announces
"Oh well bye then,"
"Bye, by the way, the snowman is called Fayne, got the inspiration from this beautiful name I know called Fay," He points to the snowman we attempted to make. I giggle under my breath, into my scarf and wave to him as he begins his walk through the snow.

I walk down my street to my house. As I walk past Josh and Dawn's house Josh runs up to me. Oh no.
"Fay wait! please!!" I stop. "I'm sorry about earlier, my sister is like that, she thinks that Dan likes her back, but don't worry, since we came back from school I have been telling her what Dan thinks of her, some lies, some not,"
"Really??"
"Yeah,"
"Thankyou,"
"I'm not a big fan of Dan but you seem like a really nice person and.. I can tell you like him," I feel the heat surging through my cheeks. I turn into my house and he goes to his. All in all, today was the best day of my life. And quite possibly, won't be the best for long.

All I can think of. Dan The only thing important enough to make my insides jump with joy. Dan.
Dan. Dan. Dan
He actually likes me! Dan actually likes me! I let out a small laugh.
"HE LIKES ME!!" I squeal.
