VERITY'S P.O.V.



        The next day was the last day of school, and prom. Last night I had bought a beautiful dress ( http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=152514860 ). And tonight, I was going to look beautiful. When I got home from school which was an hour before the prom I took a quick shower and the slipped into my dress. As I was blow-drying my hair I slid the bangles on around my wrist. I put my hair up in a slightly messy bun for the night and put on my purple converse. When I was putting on my makeup I heard the doorbell ring. A few seconds later my mom shouted up the stairs, "Honey, someone's here to pick you up for prom!" I started wondering who it was. I quickly put in my earrings then walked down the stairs to see who was here, it was Aaron and I could also see his buddies outside. "You look beautiful" said a stunned Aaron. I grabbed the box he gave me off the table and took out the necklace. "Would you mind helping me?" I asked. He slipped the necklace around my neck then fastened it so that it wouldn't come undone.

        As we walked out to his truck 5 of his unknown (to me) friends climbed in the back. The other one took shotgun, guess that means I have to be in the truck bed with the other 5. I didn't exactly pay attention to the popular girls talk about one direction so i had no idea that i was in the back of a truck with 1D. On the drive there i got to know 1D, but they had fake names because they thought i was a fan, their names were: Jakob (Louis), William (Liam), George (Harry), Henry (Niall), and Kylan (Zayn). I saw them give odd looks at each other when they finished naming themselves, so I didn't believe them. "Those aren't your real names.." I said sounding a bit threatening. They quickly answered their real names. I saw that Niall had a couple of bags of beef jerky so I took a bag and ate a piece. Zayn, Harry, Liam, and Louis looked at me shocked, Niall was twitching.

        "What? Never seen a girl eat or something?!" I questioned them. "Incorre--" Louis started but Niall interupted, "That's MY beef jerky!" I was startled at him sounding so angry but i retorted back quite easily leaving the boys shocked, "You need to learn to share Niall.." Liam started reaching for a bag to see if he could have some but Niall slapped his hand away. I threw him a piece of beef jerky from my bag so Niall wouldn't go so crazy.

        Arriving at prom I hopped out of the back first and started walking in leaving them behind, I also had left my jerky bag behind. I entered the building to hear music blaring from the speakers, 1D, David (Aaron's other friend) and Aaron entered behind me.

        I went straight to the seating area with them and we all got to know each other much better. After that I went to the dance floor to ask the DJ to play a certain song, and the DJ just happened to be my best friend Dallas(picture). I asked her to play my favorite rap song, and after the next song was over I heard her play 'Ice Ice Baby' Me and Dallas started dancing like maniacs around the DJ station. Soon unknowingly ans like a shadow Louis and Zayn came over and started dancing like weirdos with us. Dallas accidently bumed into me which bumpeed me into Zayn. We were all laughing because we had fallen over. Sitting on the ground Dallas got to know Zayn and Louis, I saw a look in her eyes everytime she looked at Louis that made me cringe on the inside, she had a crush on him.

LOUIS' P.O.V.

        I looked over at Verity's friend Dallas and saw her staring at me. I smiled back at her which made her cheeks flush red. She's so cute, especially when she is dancing like a weirdo/maniac with Verity. When me and Zayn were getting to know her, I realized she and I have alot in common. We both like cookie dough, the color red....
