Kim's birthday

It was Kim's birthday she'll be turning 7 today, I wanted to make her a awesome birthday card ! I got one of my coloring books out and looked for a birthday cake picture. I found one that had a cat next to a cake so I got out my crayons and tried my best at coloring it in.

Tylee's POV

I am making a attempt to bake a cake so I woke up early went into town and got some cake batter. Maylee was drawing in her coloring book,probably making a birthday card. Kim was doing some firebending training I just  hope she doesn't burn anything. Anyways I looked at the cake recipe it said: 3 eggs,1/4 cup of flour,1/2 of vegtable oil, and a teaspoon of salt I had all the ingredients. I then went to work on the birthday cake.

Today is my birthday !!! My sisters are most likely preparing for a party, our parents would usually plan a surprise party each time we had a birthday and our family would come over and we would eat cake it was fun. But now that our parents passed away and half of our family died it most likely won't be fun anymore....

Maylee's POV

I finished coloring the picture in,it's probably my best work yet ! I looked up from my drawing and saw that Tylee was making a cake. I walked over to her "I made a card" I said she looked at it "you did a nice job" she commented after that she went back to work. I watched her for a couple minutes before putting my card on my sleeping bag and walked over to Kim. "Hey" I said getting her attention "hey Maylee" she said as she shot a fireball at the air "are you doing some firebending training ?" I asked watching her do a couple more moves "yup" she said,after that I walked away and decided to read a book.

I finally finished the cake and since we didn't have a oven or microwave I had it sit in the sun for 10 minutes,it did nothing so I went to a bakery and got a cake there as for the cake batter I threw it away.

Once Tylee came back with a cake we started the birthday party. We used a tree stump for a table and put the cake on the 'table' and I gave Kim her card,she liked it. We ate the cake "this cake tastes awesome !" I said  "I wish Mom and Dad were here.." Kim said, we were silent after that.
