When Sonic and CP (Creepypasta) Collide

Nothing makes sense.
First the Master Emerald automatically activates Chaos Control.
Then we end up in a strange, dark world.
And who knows what could happen next?
As the boys and I are given a tour, led by Kate, around the strange world.
"This is the world of a species known as Creepypastas," Kate tells us. For some reason, the word 'Creepypastas' doesn't surprise Sonic, though it surprises Knuckles. And me, of course.
"What exactly are Creepypastas?" I ask.
"We're people who have been left isolated, or have had bad pasts. And we wish to seek revenge on people."
"How, exactly?" Knuckles adds.
Kate just smiles. "We never tell outsiders."
It still doesn't surprise Sonic. It makes me wonder if he's been here before.

Sonic and I are finally alone. I realise now is a good time to ask him.
He looks at me like something is wrong with me. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," I reply. "I should be the one asking that to you."
"Why?"
"When Kate was showing us around," I explain. "You didn't seem surprised."
"Oh. Yeah, about that..."
"Just tell me the truth, Sonic," I say. "I won't judge you."
"Okay, fine," he replies. "I wasn't surprised because sometimes, I form into one of them."
He's one of them?!
"You've been hiding this from me? All this time?" I say.
"For good reason!"
"Yeah right, of all times, you wait until we're in their world!"
"I didn't tell you because I didn't want to hurt you!"
I am shocked. He has hidden this from me to keep me safe.
I walk towards him. "You could never hurt me," I tell him calmly.
"It's not as easy as that," he replies. "When I form... I can't control myself. There's something in my mind that keeps telling me to kill innocent people. I didn't tell you because I'm worried it might tell me to kill you. And I don't want that."
I kiss him lightly on his cheek. "Does it tell you who to kill?"
He shakes his head. "It just says to kill anyone in my way. And I could end up killing you. Which I never want." He looks at me, hoping I can forgive him if he ever hurts me. Which he should know I always will. "I love you, Jackie."
"I love you too."
He pulls me closer and presses his lips to mine. I return the kiss as he holds me close.
I can't understand why he would think he'd kill me.
Perhaps if he shows me this other side to him, I can help him.
But how I can without him attacking me, or anybody else, is out of my mind.
I guess I'll learn that another time.
